What is a Blog?

Blogs are a way for people across the world to share and attain ideas and information to likeminded individuals. That being said I will be expressing my opinion on a couple of blogs like Bleacher Report and TMZ

I thought that bleacher report was pretty cool as I enjoy pretty much every competitive sport under the sun. I could find myself checking on this website pretty often to see whats going on in the NFL or NBA. I read through an article about the Colorado ST. and Colorado U rivalry game which was pretty exciting. I though it was a really good article because I enjoy college football. The website is picture heavy with photos of different athletes or teams to show what team or player the article is discussing about. The website also contains multiple ads to make some money so they can pay writers, pay for expenses such as web hosting and other costs. The purpose of Bleacher Report is to provide information on sports news and content to support fans and enthusiasts interested in sports.

Another article I read through was TMZ. The website is set up with different tabs at the top of the page that go over different rumors or news. Then in the middle of the page you can scroll through different featured articles. There are a lot of pictures of celebrities to show readers who they are talking and connect a face to the information begin discussed in the article. On the side they have an abundance of advertisements to pay for expenses. This blog didn't really interest me as I did not care what Talyor Swift ate for lunch and who Drakes new BM is. This website just goes over celebrity news, rumors and gossip for fans of peoples favorite singers, actors, and athletes.

All in all I think that blogs are a good place to share and gain information and has changed the way people do that.
